Just Another Day in Paradise

Well, Howdy and welcome to my attempt to keep a blog. Keep your fingers crossed it all goes according to plan!

Today we'll just keep it simple and I'll start by telling you about myself, just a little.
I'm 47 years old and married to a great man who puts up with all of my antics. We live in a small town in North Carolina and I believe us to be quite happy. We have 4 children between us. He has a 24 year old son who lives with his mother in Florida and we don't see him as often as we'd like to. Then I have a 24 year old daughter who lives here in town and we don't get to see as often as we'd like to :) He has a 17 year old son who lives with us and we've raised together since he was 8 years old. (That's a whole storey in itself). And together we have a 3.5 year old son who is the light of our lives and you'll be hearing alot about.
I work as an independant merchandiser and I LOVE it! I work when I want, for how long I want and don't when I don't. Can't beat it in my book. It's also different all the time because they add little wierd side jobs to my work nearly everytime I go. All my paperwork is done online and I work in my local Target for two different companies. I mostly do sunglasses and costume jewelry and I enjoy it. I wish I had learned about it long before I did. I have been doing it for 4 years now.
My husband is a retired army parachute rigger and I love him dearly. He's a good man and boy did I have to kiss a lot of frogs to find him! Well, I didn't HAVE to, but I did LOL
Ok that's enough for today. I'll tell more next time about us.
Now to tell you about my day.
I was given a massive bunkbed for my son and my best friend (KJ) and I went to my other friends' to pick up the bed. It is a great bunkbed that sits in a L shape with a desk and drawers and it's solid wood and really awesome.

We went with KJ's van and my explorer and tried to fit it in the two cars. It would have worked too if it hadn't been for the fact that I had my 3 yr old with me and couldn't lay the seat down all the way. So we had to take two loads and then I went back for the last piece after my husband came home and I could go without the boy.

Amazingly , it all went quite smoothly and without a single hitch! That in itself is a miracle, I promise you and you soon will see that it truly is a fact. Sadly, the bed was too big for my sons room. So, I gave it to KJ for her son, who has always wanted one. Worked out great in the end for all involved.

At KJ's house we then get involved with moving around some furniture to incorporate a lovely chiffarobe that she purchased yesterday at a thrift store. I'll show you a picture of it as soon as I get one. It's gorgeous! We've had a couple of good days treasure seeking in the last week and I'll tell about that in a post to come....honest!

That's enough for now. It's 2 am and I need to get some sleep. See you soon!
